The Obsidian Mirror is an animus-touched, oval-shaped piece of glittering black glass. It was saved from the NightWing's treasury when the volcano in the Night Kingdom erupted, while everyone fled through the portal to the Rainforest Kingdom. Greatness was supposed to use it to spy on the RainWings, but did not, as she didn't trust items made by animus dragons.
The Brightest Night
In the preview of The Brightest Night, Strongwings wields it while Sunny is kidnapped. During her capturing, Preyhunter pulls it out and Sunny notices that the raindrops avoided falling on it. He states that it has not worked well lately, and that Stonemover may have done something to it before he disappeared.
