Newt is a MudWing dragonet of unknown gender who was introduced in Moon Rising. They are currently attending Jade Mountain Academy as a member of the Quartz Winglet.
Biography
The Jade Mountain Prophecy
While Secretkeeper was dropping Moonwatcher off at Jade Mountain Academy, Moonwatcher spotted two MudWing dragonets laughing and racing to the school. It was likely that one of these MudWings was Newt and the other was Sepia.
After Sunny and the rest of the dragonets made the speech on the bombing in the history cave, Newt was seen briefly walking with Sepia, looking for a muddy spot to lie in around Jade Mountain.
