Newt could possibly be one of the MudWings chasing around animals in the Prey Center, though this is unknown.
After Sunny and the rest of the dragonets make the speech on the bombing in the history cave, Newt is seen briefly walking with Sepia, looking for a muddy spot to lie in on Jade Mountain.
