General Needle is a mentioned female SandWing general serving under Queen Oasis in the third book in the Winglets series, Deserter. According to Six-Claws, she would often say "admiring" things.
Needle compliments Dune on his skill at being a soldier, which he brags about shortly before the scavengers that started the Great War arrived at the palace.
