Effects
NightWing powers
NightWings, upon hatching under one full moon, are granted the power of either mindreading or foresight while those hatched under two full moons are granted both these powers. Dragonets hatched under three full moons are granted enhanced mindreading and foresight. It was once rumored that the third full moon also gave NightWings animus powers, but this was later disconfirmed, as animus powers have been proved to pass on genetically. The power of the gifts differ, such as Clearsight having strong foresight that can show multiple futures while others only get flashes of the future. When the NightWings moved to the volcanic island, knowledge of these powers was forgotten, possibly on purpose, to make sure no dragon like Darkstalker will ever hatch again. NightWing eggs under a full moon's light will turn a polished silver color, while normal eggs remain black.
