Monarch was the last queen of the SilkWings and ruled about fifty years prior during the Tree Wars.[1] She gave up her position and allowed her tribe to be ruled by the mean HiveWings, because she believed the Book of Clearsight said it must be so. She might have been wrong!
Personality
Based on her actions, Monarch appeared to be a gentle queen as she stepped down so peacefully. She also seemed to be naïve, believing Queen Wasp's claim without any suspicion. However, it is possible she stepped down knowing that Wasp's armies could destroy her tribe, so she wanted what was good for the tribe, making her a selfless leader. Very possible!
