Mindreader is a NightWing featured in The Dark Secret who was too young to leave the Night Kingdom. He was one of the 'students' Starflight encountered at the cave he woke after being knocked out.
He made a joke about staying out of Starflight's head (hence his name, Mindreader), which most of the NightWings laughed at. Starflight didn't get the joke, but later realized that no NightWing has had telepathy or precognition for over a century.
He does not appear in The Brightest Night.
