Midge briefly appeared in Cricket's flashback, when she was being mind-controlled by Queen Wasp. When two-year-old Cricket is watching a mob of mind-controlled HiveWings take an elderly dragon away, she wonders why she cannot be mind-controlled. At first, she guesses that she is too young but quickly dismisses this theory after seeing Midge, along with several other dragonets, who were also in the mob.
