After Kinkajou was attacked by Chameleon in his powerful NightWing form Shapeshifter, her friends sought out a doctor in Possibility. A dragon named Meerkat led them to Mayfly, whom he proclaimed was the best doctor in Possibility. Moon brought Kinkajou into Mayfly's office while the others waited outside. While they were waiting, Hailstorm overheard Mayfly telling Moonwatcher that she initially thought Kinkajou was an IceWing, as her scales were white. He stuck his head through the window, retorting that Kinkajou looked nothing like an IceWing, and Mayfly angrily snapped at Hailstorm and Winter for blocking the light, placing a foul-smelling jar on the windowsill for emphasis.
