Lē Yamamura is the illustrator of the covers and artwork for the Japanese releases of the Wings of Fire books. She was born on December 1st and lives in Japan. She works as a freelance illustrator and creature designer who specializes in imaginary creatures and monsters, as well as a lecturer at Kyoto University of the Arts for animal classes. In 2019, she released Creatures, a collection of her creature designs.
