The Indestructible City is a scavenger city introduced in Dragonslayer.
Description
Not much is known about the Indestructible City, however Wren described it as having too many walls and porcupine guards. There is a contraption designed for rising and lowering heavy goods and humans in and out of the walls of the city. Guards protect the stairs that lead to the city, on the top of a cliff, and is said to be the only scavenger city to fight back against dragons.
History
The scavenger den that shot at Winter was likely the Indestructible City.
The Indestructible City is first mentioned by Rowan when she recalled the legend of the Dragonslayer. It is where Wren trades her books for new books and where Undauntable lives.
Known Residents
- Undauntable
- The Invincible Lord
- Dragon (cat)
- Multiple councillors
- Multiple sycophants
Trivia
- Despite the Indestructible City being larger than most scavenger dens and even having a large castle, in Arcs 1 and 2 of the mainstream series, it is labelled with an image of a farm instead. It is unknown why this is.
