The IceWing plague was a disease enchanted by [[King Darkstalker]] to kill all the [[IceWings]] except Winter and hybrids, as Darkstalker believed [[Queen Diamond]] had killed [[Foeslayer]]. Evidently, a great deal of the IceWing tribe had contracted it.

This disease was brought into existence by King Darkstalker, and it was revealed during the epilogue of [[Talons of Power (Book)|''Talons of Power'']]. Every IceWing in [[Possibility]] was confirmed to have the sickness, as well as possibly every IceWing in the IceWing Kingdom. [[Typhoon]] mentioned that it did not spread like a normal disease. Only pure IceWings caught it, as Darkstalker didn't want to get himself or any of his descendants sick (Darkstalker is a hybrid, more specifically an IceWing-NightWing hybrid).
The disease was finally stopped when Typhoon informed [[Queen Thorn]] about it, and [[Qibli]] sent enchanted earrings, which granted immunity to Darkstalker's spells, to the IceWings.

Since Glacier had died, [[Queen Snowfall|Snowfall]] ascended peacefully to the throne as the new queen.

* Only true IceWings can catch the plague. Hybrids can't catch it because Darkstalker, being an IceWing hybrid, knew that he would harm himself if he allowed hybrids to catch the sickness as well. Darkstalker made the plague due to his hatred of IceWings, because of what they did to Foeslayer, his mother, 2,000 years ago.
* This disease may be a type of tuberculosis, as they have similar symptoms.
* It may or may not be a coincidence that this occurred close to the same time as the events in other tribes mentioned in the ''Talons of Power'' epilogue.

The IceWing plague was a deadly disease enchanted by King Darkstalker to target all pure IceWings, as revenge for Queen Diamond supposed killing Foeslayer. It did not spread like a normal disease according to Typhoon; every IceWing in Possibility instantly caught the plague and started coughing up blood.[1] In the Ice Kingdom, many IceWings also caught the plague, and twenty, including Queen Glacier, died.[2][3]
