Heliconia is a female RainWing guard who was introduced in Winter Turning. She is one of the RainWings in Queen Glory's secret invisible guard, assigned by Deathbringer to quietly follow the queen and protect her from threats and potential assassination attempts. She currently resides within the Rainforest Kingdom.
Description
Winter described her scales as "a rather hideous shade of pink".[1]
Biography
The Jade Mountain Prophecy
Heliconia was first introduced when Glory mistook her as Banana while she was following her. Heliconia was then assigned to alerting the scout captains of the queen to meet Glory at the pavilion as quickly as possible, though Heliconia did not want to leave her unguarded. Glory told her that she will not be unguarded as she had multiple guards, which lead her to bicker with Deathbringer.
Later, Heliconia spoke with one of the NightWings guarding the wingery who was reluctant to allow Winter's entry into the wingery, stating that he looked too "hostile" because Winter wanted to establish IceWing superiority at the time.
