Hawker is an adult male HiveWing who was introduced in The Lost Continent. He formerly worked as a soldier and was responsible for checking the IDs of anyone entering Cicada Hive. He currently resides within the LeafSilk Kingdom.
Description
Hawker is a hivewing with an unusual black base. He has orange speckles running across his scales. Long four wings fading into an orange with speckles forming through the vibrant fade of orange at the tip of his wing membranes. With sleek black claws, he has fierce looking red-orange eyes and a pale dark brownish tongue.[1] He has a gruff voice.[2]
Personality
Even after seeing Blue and Luna every day for nearly three years, Hawker never gave any indication of recognizing them or caring that they existed beyond their IDs.[1] However, he wished Luna good luck on her Metamorphosis day.[2] It is implied that he does not talk much, at least to the SilkWings he checks the IDs of.[2]
Biography
The Lost Continent Prophecy
Hawker appeared when he checked the IDs for Blue and Luna so that they could enter Cicada Hive. After checking in Blue, he moved onto Luna and realized that it was her Metamorphosis day. Hawker admitted their entry before clearing his throat and wishing Luna good luck during her Metamorphosis. After they were out of earshot, Blue joked that Hawker may have had a crush on Luna, and Luna joked that they might have a forbidden love, making Blue nervous.
Luna mentioned that Hawker was one of the HiveWings who came to the SilkWing encampments to get away from the Hives.
