Grasshopper is an adult male HiveWing and the construction crew supervisor for Cicada Hive. He was the boss of Swordtail, who formerly worked in the construction crew, before the early events of The Lost Continent.

Grasshopper does not formally appear in The Lost Continent. He is mentioned once by Luna, who remarks that she didn't think Grasshopper would let Swordtail come to her metamorphosis. Swordtail explained that he snuck out of the construction site without permission.
