Template:Charbox Queen Crane was the queen of the MudWings, in the time of Darkstalker. However, very little is known about her as she was not mentioned in the book, only in the list of queens in A NightWing Guide to the Dragons of Pyrrhia. She was queen alongside Queen Lagoon (later succeeded by Queen Pearl), Queen Carmine, Queen Vigilance, Queen Diamond, Queen Scorpion, and Queen Anaconda.

Trivia
- A crane is a species of bird with long legs and a long neck. They are usually very beautiful and are excellent fishers.
- Queen Crane may have been a much more aggressive and dangerous MudWing queen than normal (at least compared to the MudWings today) because of the way the MudWings were mentioned to have been behaving by the SeaWing queen, Queen Lagoon. RainWings were also mentioned by her alongside the MudWings.
- Queen Crane shares the same name with Clay's deceased sister, Crane. This is one of the few reused names in the series, along with Eclipse, Jewel, Lagoon, Pearl, Eagle, and Ostrich.
