|a3App = The Poison Jungle |a3Men = }} Cobra Lily is a female LeafWing who appeared in The Poison Jungle. She is a close friend of Sundew and a guard for the PoisonWing village.
Appearance
Cobra Lily has streaks of pinkish-red along her horns and the veins of her summer-green wings. She is long and elegant.[1]
Personality
Calm and collected, Cobra Lily is described as the opposite of Nettle. She rarely shows her anger, preferring to hold icy grudges for years until she can exact her revenge at just the right moment. She was mentioned to have slipped a manchineel fruit in a dragon's lunch as payback for insulting her sister years ago. Cobra Lily is willing to leap into action immediately, shown when she instantly started evacuation plans of the village after getting word of the Othermind's seemingly unstoppable takeover of the Poison Jungle.
Biography
The Lost Continent Prophecy
Cobra Lily was first seen guarding the entrance to the PoisonWing village, and she and Sundew briefly chatted. When given the breath of evil to identify, Cobra Lily said it was unfamiliar to her, to Sundew's surprise. She mistook Cricket for a prisoner, likely because of Commander Belladonna's stories.
She made a brief appearance near the end of the book when she was being warned about the othermind. Without hesitation, she started evacuation plans of the village towards the Gullet River, and by extension, the Distant Kingdoms.
Relationships
The two dragons are close friends and trust each other greatly. Cobra Lily is playful with Sundew, stating that she had "a little monster" on her neck. Sundew describes her as cool and "kind of awesome". Cobra Lily says that the village was boring without Sundew.
Cobra Lily looks up to her greatly, believing everything her leader says, even if it was somewhat exaggerated.
Like most other LeafWings seem to, Cobra Lily doesn't seem to like Nettle, even going so far to say that she almost murdered Nettle to make something interesting happen in their village while Sundew was gone.
