Template:CharboxLady Cicada is a female HiveWing and one of Queen Wasp's sisters, as well as the ruler of Cicada Hive. Lady Cicada also has an entire art gallery centered around her, located in the Cicada Hive. Lady Cicada seems to be immune to Queen Wasp’s mind control because Lady Scarab said that “She (Queen Wasp) never controls her sisters or Jewel but she threatens her (Jewel with injecting her with the plant to mind control her) sometimes.”
Appearance
She has red scales[1] with black underscales, orange and yellow semi-transparent wings and black eyes.
Biography
After seeing Queen Wasp for the first time on her visit to Silkworm Hall, Blue mentions how Lady Cicada never seemed quite as intimidating ever again.
Later, Blue and Luna visit the Lady Cicada Art Gallery, which includes a bunch of paintings, sculptures, and silk weavings of Lady Cicada.

Trivia
- A cicada is a species of jumping bug.
- Lady Cicada may be named after the Cicada Hawk, a parasitic wasp that feeds on cicadas and is known for burrowing underground and destroying trees.
- Lady Cicada is likely over 50 years old, as that was the time of the Tree Wars and it was mentioned in The Lost Continent that there was a wooden statue of her. There would not likely be wood after the Tree Wars, and the woodcarvers were reclassified.
