Biography

Moon Rising

In Moon Rising, Moon mentions a large group of IceWings; Changbai was likely one of them.

Talons of Power

In Talons of Power, Changbai is one of the three IceWing dragonets to attack Darkstalker after he sticks his head in through the library window. Ermine and Alba were the others. The dragonets attack him in fear and anger with as much force as possible, but it does nothing but annoy Darkstalker, because of his invincible scales.

Darkness of Dragons

Changbai is specifically mentioned to be haughty and sit far away from Winter. When Darkstalker is brought up, Changbai quickly mentions he is not like the dragon from old stories as he did not immediately start murdering everyone.

Personality

Changbai seems to be very haughty and disdainful; however, that may be because they were trained to think IceWings are superior to the other tribes. They are also terrified of Darkstalker.

• The Changbai Mountains are on the border of China and North Korea.
• Changbai translates into "長白" or "长白" in Chinese, which literally means "long white", referring to perennial white. Changbai also means 'love you until your hair turns white(长相守，到白头)' in Chinese culture.
• In English, the full name of the mountain range translates to "Perpetually White Mountain Region".
• Changbai is one of the two IceWing students attending Jade Mountain Academy with no known gender.
