Cattail

Template:Infobox Cattail is a dappled MudWing with brown eyes that have yellow rings around the pupil, she is Clay, Umber, Reed, Sora, Pheasant, Crane, and Marsh's mother. She is also the sister of the deceased Asha - one of the forty members of the Talons of Peace, who would have been one of the dragonet's guardians.

History

Cattail had Clay during a breeding night of the Mud Kingdom. Her sister, Asha, saw him to be the potential for the prophecy. Cattail didn't care about what happened to her eggs, like most MudWings, so she sold his egg to the Talons of Peace in exchange for two or more cows, and appeared to have no guilt or resentment for the deal. She was not trying to be rude, she was simply acting how a typically MudWing would.

When Clay made his way back to her, she was agitated and angry at him for his lack of knowledge about the tradition of the MudWings. She also appears to hold no form of joy or emotion towards her children. After that Cattail left Clay and Glory, who she had hurt emotionally.

Trivia

• Despite not caring about her children (similar to most MudWings), Cattail is mentioned to be upset upon hearing her sibling, Asha, has died.
• A cattail is a kind of plant that grows in wetlands.
