Capybara is a SandWing of unknown gender who was mentioned in Darkness of Dragons. They serve as the leader of Thorn's spies and currently reside in the SandWing stronghold.
Biography
The Jade Mountain Prophecy
Capybara was mentioned when Qibli and his mother, Cobra, were planning to escape from Vulture's prison. Cobra shouted about Qibli not being able to spell "Capybara," which was used as a distraction to drop some sharp-edged discs into Turtle's bowl.
When interrogating Cobra about conspiring against Thorn, Qibli asked Thorn who was in charge of her spies, to which she replied that it was a dragon named Capybara. For Qibli, this was one out of several pieces of evidence that Cobra had been using the Obsidian Mirror to spy on Thorn, since Cobra had mentioned the name when pretending to read Qibli's scroll of information for Vulture and his Talons of Power. Cobra couldn't have known that detail if she'd been imprisoned as she had claimed; she would have had to be standing next to Vulture, gazing into the Obsidian Mirror when he used it.
