The Burning of Bloodworm Hive is a recent event involving an attack on Bloodworm Hive by the LeafWings (PoisonWings). The burning was the first big attack on Queen Wasp by the LeafWings since the Tree Wars. It is unknown how many dragons were killed in the burning, but likely a fair amount, considering it was mentioned to be on the brink of collapse. Blue, Cricket, Swordtail and Sundew tried to stop it, but they were unsuccessful.
Bryony, Pokeweed, and Hemlock burned down the hive with a strand of flamesilk from Blue that was collected in a stone jar from Sundew, that Belladonna left for them in the Prologue of The Poison Jungle. The LeafWings had brought dittany and other flammable plants from the jungle to help burn down the hive.
