- "Three moons, is, uh...is he likely to do that? Because of the maybe murdering? I think I agree yes, I would like to hear about that? Or more specifically, about how not happening, that is?"
- — Boto to Webs, about Darkstalker, in Darkness of Dragons.
Template:Charbox Boto is a placid-looking male RainWing dragonet who attends Jade Mountain Academy as part of the Silver Winglet. In Talons of Power, Peril accidentally sets his homework on fire because he left it in the hall.
Biography
He was described to be dancing with both Sepia and Kinkajou as the Jade and Silver Winglets used instruments together in the music room at Jade Mountain Academy. Later in the book, he was shown resting in a patch of sunlight along with two other RainWing students, Coconut and Siamang.
Peril accidentally set a scroll on fire, and when she got mad, Boto replied that it was his homework. Peril tried to reassure him that it was good she didn't step on his tail instead, and he turned pale green and retreated into his cave.
Boto was seen attending a history class along with the Jade and Silver Winglets. When Darkstalker's murderous past was brought up, Boto's talons turned a lime green and he began anxiously asking whether it was likely that they would be murdered.
