Boar was a spy sent by the Invincible Lord to watch Heath, under the alias that he was a close guard. 

He appeared in the epilogue, bringing news back to the Invincible Lord, who was also with Undauntable. He talked about the events in Valor that he witnessed, including Heath losing his role as lord of Valor, and of Wren and Sky (although not mentioned by name) scaring Heath into giving back the treasure he stole from Queen Oasis.
