Blue is woken up by Luna, who excitedly announces that it is her metamorphosis day. They set out to gather honey drops to use to celebrate after saying goodbye to Silverspot, but Blue is nervous due to his mother's expression. On their way they pass a group of propaganda posters warning them about LeafWings and the dangers of disobeying the queen, and Blue and Luna have a brief disagreement about whether LeafWings still exist. Afterwards, they encounter Hawker, who checks their identification and remarks about Luna's metamorphosis.
