Bigwings are the eldest and largest dragonet in a MudWing clutch. The are the first to hatch, and they help their younger siblings hatch by cracking open their siblings' eggshells. When grown, they become the leader of the sibling group.
If a group of siblings loses its bigwings or several other members of its group, the clutch it will form a new group with another MudWing clutch, or unsibs.
Known Bigwings
*Clay was originally the bigwings of his clutch, however, because of his absence, Reed became the bigwings of their clutch.
*Queen Moorhen is the bigwings of her sib group, and has at least four siblings.
*It can be assumed that all MudWing queens are royal bigwings, as no queen has ever been challenged by her sister.
Trivia
- When Clay was hatched, his bigwings instincs told him to help the other eggs to hatch, but was mistaken by the dragonets' guardians as attacking them.
