Bigwings are the eldest and largest dragonet in a MudWing clutch. The are the first to hatch and help his/her younger siblings hatch (by cracking open the eggshells). When grown, they become leaders of sibling groups.
Clay is the true bigwings of his "sibs", but due to him being sold to the Talons, Reed, his brother, became the new bigwings. If a group of siblings loses its bigwings or several other members of its group, the clutch it will form a new group with other other MudWing dragonets, or unsibs.
