Bandit is a scavenger owned by [[Winter]], and appears briefly throughout [[Moon Rising|''Moon Rising'']]. He is completely terrified of all dragons, except perhaps [[Moonwatcher]], as she saved him from being eaten by all the other dragons when he escaped from [[Winter]]. He was also hungry enough to allow [[Kinkajou]] to feed him. Bandit also appears to be lonely. Moonwatcher can't read what he is thinking since he isn't a dragon, but she can understand his feelings. [[Winter]] wanted tried to set Bandit free at the end of ''Moon Rising'' to keep him from freezing to death in the Ice Kingdom. Winter told him, "Trust me, it's much better than the Ice Kingdom".
