Template:CharboxArid is a SandWing dragonet with an unknown gender attending Jade Mountain Academy as a member of the Quartz Winglet.
He is most likely male because Pronghorn was described to be eager and curious, and therefore when a SandWing asked: "Why've you got a NightWing stuck to your tail?"... 'The question didn't sound friendly', the question didn't sound like something Pronghorn would say, and the only other dragon it could have been - since Moon didn't know their name - was Arid. Later in that paragraph, it says "his mind". This was in book six, page 237. Sorry for the lengthy explanation
Biography
Arid appeared alongside Pronghorn and Ostrich when Moonwatcher and Qibli came to talk to Onyx about the bomb in the history cave. When Moon reads Arid's mind, it was discovered that he had previously supported Burn during the War of SandWing Succession, but now he supports Queen Thorn. He is highly respectful of her or anyone involved with her, such as Qibli or Ostrich. Qibli was seen to be a leader to him and the other SandWings in the Jade Mountain group.
In Darkness of Dragons, Qibli asked Pronghorn about the last time he had seen Ostrich, and he mentioned that she, Arid, and himself had been carrying instruments to one of the upper caves to play.
