When Blue and Io were fleeing Cicada Hive, Aphid was one of the dragons to suddenly become mind-controlled by Queen Wasp and was ordered to hunt the runaway flamesilk down. Aphid's caretaker, a young SilkWing with pale blue and pink wings, began to panic and try to help Aphid, but an older SilkWing stopped him, saying that the young HiveWing dragonet was not himself at that moment.
