Animus dragons are special dragons that have power over objects.

Abilities of an Animus

Animus dragons can do things such as levitating objects, making something grow in a specific way, cursing objects so that whoever touches them will be killed and make objects look for someone or something. A few of the things that Blister mentions that animus can do is making a whole palace cave in and to make a spear look for Burn's heart and not stop until it kills her. Another animus dragon named Albatross built the SeaWing pavilion by making rocks grow in that way. Another animus Orca made a statue kill all the heirs to the SeaWing throne.

The Price of Magic

Animus magic also has a price. Whenever an animus dragon uses his or her power, they lose a bit of themselves. Doing complex projects such as making a building grow can make them evil.
