Those who have been stabbed with a stinger from a dragon who has eaten the breath of evil, as mentioned in ''The Hive Queen'' and ''The Poison Jungle'', can be mind-controlled by that dragon, like how Queen Wasp controls most HiveWings. Fast-beating wings may be used for weapons.

The cover page of A Guide to the Dragons of Pantala from The Lost Continent.

A Guide to the Dragons of Pantala is present at the beginning of The Lost Continent. There is no definitive evidence of if it is a book or scroll. The dragon drawings are illustrated by Joy Ang.

Vary from dragon to dragon; examples include deadly stingers that can extend from their wrists to stab their enemies; venom in their teeth or claws; a paralyzing toxin that can immobilize their prey; or boiling acid sprayed from a stinger on their tails, and in some cases, the ability to emit a disgusting smell. Those who have been stabbed with a stinger from a dragon who has eaten the breath of evil, as mentioned in The Hive Queen and The Poison Jungle, can be mind-controlled by that dragon, like how Queen Wasp controls most HiveWings. Trivia:

  • The tribes from Pantala all have much thinner legs and bodies than the dragons on Pyrrhia. This probably means that these types of dragons are lighter in weight and are built for agility.
  • It is not known which tribe made this guide, but, presuming that HiveWings are the dominant tribe, it is likely this is a guide for HiveWings.
  • SilkWings and HiveWings share a common ancestor, the BeetleWings. However, Tui has confirmed that they are extinct.
