A Guide to the Dragon World is an upcoming Wings of Fire guide book illustrated by Joy Ang. It will be released on October 3rd, 2023.[1] The cover was first discovered April 21, 2022.

Plot
The setup of A Guide to the Dragon World is more like a field guide than a novel. It is organized by tribe in the order of POVs in the main series.
Opening Letter
The book opens up with a letter by the Dragonets of Destiny, stating their project to gather information from Pyrrhia and Pantala to create a more comprehensive guide to the dragon world.
Commentary by Starflight, Sunny, Fatespeaker, and Glory can be seen in the margins.
The Legend of the Scorching
The Legend of the Scorching tells the mindspace scenes of the Scorching from The Flames of Hope in the perspective of the dragons.
Chapter 1: MudWings
Starflight was the dragon who narrated the MudWing section of the book.
He presented the Academy's copy of Wisemind's The Sluglike Qualities of the MudWings, with Sepia's commentary in the margins of it.
