Template:CharboxWolfsbane is a male LeafWing who appears in The Poison Jungle. He is the father of Mandrake and Nettle.
Appearance
Not much is known about his appearance, though he is said to have "fathomless brown eyes".[1] It can be assumed that he has green and golden-brown scales, like many other LeafWings.
Biography
Wolfsbane is first seen trying to get his son, Mandrake, to kill a large panther. Unlike his daughter, he seems to believe his son is capable of this. When Sundew reveals that she had been the one to kill the panther, he seems disappointed. Wolfsbane reacts with suspicion to Sundew's friends, asking why she did not kill all of them except for Blue.
Wolfsbane later appears with Belladonna when Sundew returns with Blue, Cricket, Swordtail, and Bumblebee.
Quotes
"He has to learn how to do this." -To Nettle about Mandrake's leafspeak.
"We don't have Sundew right now. She might have to go on another mission like this one, and what if we're attacked and Mandrake has to step up?" -To Nettle about Mandrake having to use his powers instead of Sundew using hers.
"Son! Look at you! That was incredible!" -To Mandrake after seeing a thorn bush grow to strangle a panther (through Sundew's leafspeak)
"Do your parents know about this?" -To Sundew when she reveals Blue, Cricket, Swordtail, and Bumblebee.
"Hmmm. So why not kill the others and keep this one, Sundew?" -About Blue being a flamesilk
"I told her to wait outside! [...] Hey, I told you to wait outside!" -To Belladonna and then Sundew.
"Yeah, give that a try, [...] I hear she's quite reasonable." -About Queen Wasp.
