The perspective rotates between three dragons — [[Darkstalker]] the [[animus]] [[NightWing]]-[[IceWing]] [[hybrid]], the NightWing [[Clearsight]], who he loves, and [[Fathom]] of the [[SeaWings]], their best friend, and an animus. The prologue is from the point of view of [[Arctic]] the IceWing, Darkstalker's father, and the epilogue is told from the perspective of [[Indigo]] the SeaWing, Fathom's true love. The story takes place in around 3,008 AS. It was released on June 28, 2016.

The perspective rotates between three [[scavengers]]: [[Ivy]], the daughter of the [[Heath|Dragonslayer]], the scavenger [[Leaf]], and his sister [[Wren]] who has befriended a [[SkyWings|mountain dragon]] called [[Sky]]. The prologue is from the point of view of [[Stone]], brother to the Dragonslayer, and the epilogue is told from the perspective of [[Undauntable]], the prince of the [[Indestructible City]]. The story takes place during the events of'' [[The Dragonet Prophecy (book)|The Dragonet Prophecy]]'' all the way to'' [[The Brightest Night (book)|The Brightest Night]]''. It was released on March 3, 2020.
