- This is the second song performed in the whole series, following the Dragonets of Destiny song in The Dragonet Prophecy (Book), and preceding Strawberries as Big as a Scavenger's head, mentioned in Darkness of Dragons.
- Both the Dragonets of Destiny song and We the Dragons of the Sky have rhyming lyrics, although Dragonets of Destiny rhymes better, and the lyrics to Strawberries as Big as a Scavenger's head remain unreleased.
