Template:Infobox CharacterVermilion is a SkyWing prince and the brother of Queen Ruby. He is Queen Scarlet's only known son, with scales of a vibrant blood-red. He is the announcer of the arena matches and is the prosecution in trials, which he announces on top of a sand mound. He is also in The Brightest Night's collector's edition.

History

Vermilion, although unnamed at the time, was the announcer for the fight between Horizon and Peril. Later on, Vermilion stood as the prosecutor on Kestrel's trial. The next day, he announced the battles on his mother's hatching day. Tsunami nearly attacked him before her fight with Gill.

According to the Collector's Edition, Smolder had sent Vermilion a letter about his pet scavenger, Flower, and how to take care for one. Smolder sent a return letter with tips and instructions.
