Template:Infobox BookThe Dangerous Gift is the fourteenth book in the Wings of Fire series and the fourth book in the third arc. It will be released on September 15th, 2020.[1] While the title, cover, and summary of this book have not yet been revealed, the protagonist was revealed to be Queen Snowfall.[2][3]
The cover, and possibly the title, is said to be revealed on March 7th, 2020 at American Barnes and Noble stores as part of an event called the "FanWing Fan Fest".[4]
Book Fourteen is preceded by The Poison Jungle and followed by Book Fifteen.

- Book Fourteen is currently the first and only book in the series that has a protagonist that is already the queen of a tribe.
- Book Fourteen is currently the second book in the series to have an IceWing as a protagonist, the first book being Winter Turning.
- There is a rumor that the title will be “The Venom Cure”, but this has not been confirmed, and likely stems from a fan cover often mistaken to be Book Fourteen's cover.
