Tapir is briefly mentioned when Mangrove is explaining to Glory about the kidnapping of the RainWings. He claims that Tapir was the oldest of the missing dragons, at somewhere approximately a hundred and ten years old.
He does not formally appear, but Kinkajou adds later that he was one of the three (with the others being Bright and Orangutan) who died in the Night Kingdom. He is also mentioned when Kinkajou and Glory were at the competions.
