Book 9 is the ninth book in the Wings of Fire series and will come out after Escaping Peril. Tui T. Sutherland has confirmed that the main character is a SeaWing. At The Brightest Night's launch party, she mentioned a possible return of a SeaWing royal daughter, or perhaps one of Tsunami's brothers. It has been confirmed that the protagonist is related to Tsunami and didn't appear in the the first 5 books, so it could be a male prince, probably Turtle. No official title or release date has been confirmed yet, though given Tui's general pattern of 2 books per year, it seems probable it will release in 2016.
