Strongwings is a NightWing featured in The Dark Secret and The Brightest Night. He is described as strong and burly, hence his name. Strongwings is also said to be in a relationship with Fierceteeth.
Biography
Strongwings is the lab assistant of Mastermind. He wanted to use Mastermind's helmet to test its resistance to RainWing venom. However, since Mastermind only had one, the NightWing refused.
Tsunami forced Strongwings to swear allegiance to Queen Glory when the NightWings evacuated their island, which he did not seem pleased about.
Strongwings was one of the dragons who captured Sunny. Their hope was to hold Sunny hostage, so Fierceteeth could overthrow Glory. Strongwings hoped to be the king, explaining why he helped Fierceteeth.
He, Fierceteeth, and Preyhunter fall asleep and are, unintentionally, played a trick on by Sunny. She wrote them a message that stated The Darkstalker was going to hunt and kill them, which arose Strongwings' superstitions.
When they arrived at the Scorpion Den to send a message to Burn, Thorn killed Preyhunter and the other two NightWings were put "somewhere uncomfortable". Strongwings and Fierceteeth were never heard from again.
