Sunny follows Preyhunter, Fierceteeth, and Strongwings to the Scorpion Den, which turns out to be a town full of smugglers and mercenaries-for-hire. A group of dragons called the Outclaws (pun intended) defends the town. Sunny meets her mother, Thorn, the leader of the Outclaws. Morrowseer, Dune, and Stonemover (Sunny's father) are wanted in the town. Peril is hiding out near it. | |||
