Scorpion was an adult female SandWing queen who ruled during the time of Darkstalker. She died of a heart attack, induced by Jerboa, after ruling for around sixty years.[1]
Personality
Scorpion was greedy, always wanting more land, more power, and more of Jerboa's magic.[2] She loved treasure, and may have disrespected her alliances.[3] She was also cruel, forcing Jerboa to use magic by torturing her.
Biography
The Lost Continent Prophecy
Darkstalker asks Moonwatcher which tribes are the richest, and she says all of them except Queen Glory, but especially the SkyWings because of Scarlet, and the SandWings had a large treasury. Darkstalker then comes to the conclusion that it was likely Queen Scorpion that took the treasure, because the SandWings hardly had any treasure back in his day.
Jerboa noted she couldn't be in the desert until Scorpion was dead and described Scorpion's greedy and possessive nature. As Jerboa thought about enchanting an animal egg, Jerboa realized she had to wait for Scorpion's death. Her last mention was Jerboa's thoughts about Scorpion's unexpected heart attack.
Legends
It was noted that she allowed the NightWings and IceWings to fight in the Kingdom of Sand if they stayed away from her towns and gave her treasure as payment. She was queen alongside Crane, Lagoon (and Pearl when Lagoon was murdered), Carmine, Anaconda, Diamond, and Vigilance.
Relationships
Scorpion was possessive of Jerboa, keeping her away from other dragons.[4] She made Jerboa enchant her with longevity and healing.[2]
