It is mentioned several times throughout the ''Wings of Fire'' series, in ''[[The Dragonet Prophecy (book)|The Dragonet Prophecy]]'', ''[[Moon Rising]]'', and ''[[Darkstalker (Legends)|Darkstalker]]''. It is also mentioned by [[Webs]] in ''[[Darkness of Dragons]]'' before [[Thrush]] asks about [[Darkstalker]]. It is currently the only known war between scavengers and [[dragons]].

Eventually, the dragons united and overthrew the scavengers. The dragons then formed tribes and each one appointed a [[queen]], allowing them to form complex societies.
