Template:CharboxGeneral Sandstorm was a male SandWing general in Burn's army who died in the battle against Thorn and the Outclaws (who were trying to get Sunny back) at Burn's stronghold during The Brightest Night. While Smolder was showing Sunny the empty treasury, Camel came running in exclaiming that they were under attack and that General Sandstorm was already dead. It is unknown who from the Outclaws killed him.
Appearance
According to the cover of Dragonslayer, General Sandstorm has a face covered in scars, and black diamond patterns similar to the ones Smolder and Princess Blister have. He has pale, sandy yellow wing membranes, a golden ridge, yellow scales, dark gray eyes, and white teeth, talons, and horns. Sandstorm also has a red-colored tongue on the cover, but this is most likely Joy Ang’s mistake.
Biography
Sandstorm was placed in charge of the defense of Burn's Stronghold while Burn was off searching for the dragonets of destiny. Sandstorm was killed in a battle against Thorn and the Outclaws in their attempt to rescue Sunny from Princess Burn. Camel told Smolder about Sandstorm's death while Smolder was showing Sunny the old treasure chambers. Sandstorm was most likely killed by Thorn herself In a swift raid, but it hasn't yet been confirmed.

- A sandstorm is a strong, dry, wind carrying clouds of sand with it, especially in a desert.
