Quicksand was an adult male SandWing introduced in Deserter and mentioned in Darkness of Dragons. He worked as the head chef of Queen Oasis' kitchen, and, was the father of Six-Claws.
Biography
The Jade Mountain Prophecy
Palm thought about Quicksand for a moment as she fled from the palace. She was hallucinating, thinking to herself how Quicksand would be disappointed in her for leaving dates out in the sun for too long, but she quickly shook it off, remembering that her old boss had been dead for years.
Winglets
Quicksand was the head chef of Queen Oasis's kitchen, portrayed as an extremely loyal and considerate dragon. He and Ostrich, Six-Claws' mother, were partners and to have married. He, unfortunately, died of the same disease as Char several years before Queen Oasis was killed and the War of SandWing Succession started.
