Template:Infobox Character Quicksand is a male SandWing who appears in the third book in the Winglets series, Deserter. He was the head chef of Queen Oasis's kitchen and was portrayed as an extremely loyal and caring dragon. He and Ostrich are partners, possibly married, and the parents of Six-Claws. He died of the same disease as King Char.
