Pine

Template:SpoilerDragonslayer Template:Charbox Pine is a male scavenger who appears in Dragonslayer. He was banished from Valor for being at the ruins of the old village.

Appearance

Pine was described to have worn a green Wingwatcher‘s uniform at his banishment. He still wears it, but it is now threadbare. Pine also has a scar on his neck. Daffodil mentioned that "he had nice hair", but this is likely because she has a crush on him.^{[citation needed]}

He is also mentioned to be tall.

While Ivy is talking to Miss Laurel about her father and Pine, Ivy recalls that Pine was one of the nice Wingwatchers who brought peaches to Ivy's school.

Trivia

• In the same chapter, it is mentioned that Pine is a Wingwatcher. Since a Wingwatcher is someone who is on the lookout for approaching dragons, this job may have made Pine feel as though he was alone enough to be able to slip away to look at the destroyed village without being caught. 
  • However, it is mentioned in Dragonslayer that he was told by The Dragonslayer (otherwise known as Heath) to go look for iron, so he went to the old village. 
• It is possible that A Wingwatcher's Guide to Dragons was written by or collaborated by Pine.
