Appearance

Pine was described to have worn a green uniform at his banishment. Daffodil mentioned that he had nice hair, but this is likely because she has a crush on him.

While Ivy is talking to Mrs. Laurel about her father and Pine, Ivy recalls that Pine was one of the nice wing-watchers who brought peaches to Ivy's school.

Trivia

• It is possible that Pine is Bandit, but he could also be Fluffy.
• In the chapter of Dragonslayer that Tui T. Sutherland read out loud, he is mentioned to have "nice hair". This could mean he is Fluffy from The Brightest Night, as he is shown to have fluffy hair.
  • But this could be because Daffodil likes him.
• In the same chapter, it is mentioned that Pine is a wing-watcher. Since a wing-watcher is someone who is on the lookout for approaching dragons, this job may have made Pine feel as though he was alone enough to be able to slip away to look at the destroyed village without being caught.
• It is possible that A Wingwatcher's Guide to Dragons was written by or collaborated by Pine.
