The Old Language was the original language spoken by the residents on the continent of Pantala. It appears to be based on Latin in some aspects (such as Luna, meaning "moon" for Pantala's residents), as well as most words being based off of plant parts.

History
In the prologue of The Lost Continent, Clearsight meets Sunstreak and a male LeafWing. The LeafWing speaks in the Old Language. In The Hive Queen, Luna mentions to Moon that her name means "moon" in the Old Language. Later in the book, Lady Scarab mentions the Old Language while telling Cricket the history of her tribe and her family.
